Many flights available from major UK airports to Agadir's modern international airport (AGA). Same with most major European cities. Approximate flight time of 4hrs, depending on place of departure.

All transfers, whether from Agadir airport (approximately 45 minutes) or bus station (approximately 30 minutes), are inclusive in the price. Whatever day or time of arrival there will be one of our representatives to meet you.

Visas are not required for British and European passport holders for stays up to ninety days. Passports must be valid for three months from the date of entry into Morocco. South African passport holders need to obtain a visa from their nearest Moroccan embassy. An address of accommodation is normally required, which we will supply.

Insurance: It is a requirement that you have your own travel insurance. Moroccan Surf Adventures accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to persons or property during their stay.

The cheapest option is the bus, which takes around 4hrs. Approximate price: £8/€9
We will then pick you up from the bus station in Agadir.

Winter months going into Spring.
A good 3/2mm wetsuit.
Water temperature is around 16/18°, but can feel a little colder around the Cape.
Your best everyday small wave board, and a step up board if the surf gets bigger.
A gun is handy for the more experienced.
Booties are handy for those who will be surfing the reefs, etc. but also handy for beginners, as they give protection and grip.
Definitely bring some warm clothes for the evenings.
Daytime air temperature is between 16 - 25°.
Some high factor sun cream, as the sun is still pretty warm, even for the winter months.

Summer months and Autumn.
A 3/2mm wetsuit.
Water temp around 18/20°.
Your best everyday small wave board, and a step up board just in case. You never know.
Booties.
A warm jumper, just in case of the odd cold evening.
Day time air temperature in autumn (April / May) is around 21 - 30°.
Daytime air temperature in summer (June, July, August, September) is warm to hot!!

No vaccinations are required for Morocco. In case of injury, we can recommend a couple of very clean and proficient private hospitals in Agadir. There is also a large state-run hospital.

There is the odd mosquito in Morocco, but they are not really that prolific, or too much of a problem.

Local Currency
The Moroccan Dirham can only be obtained in Morocco. On arrival you will find a number of exchange facilities.
There are also ATMs in all the major airports and cities. Depending on who you bank with, it is sometimes advisable to let your bank know you will be using your card whilst in Morocco.
Travelers cheques can only be cashed in the main clearing banks.

Women and clothing
Morocco is a very liberal Muslim country, especially in the southern tourist cities. Swimming costumes are the norm on the beach, or by a pool. You will see Moroccan women also enjoying the weather and wearing bathing suits.
As for towns or villages, it is best to cover up a little, and use a little discretion.

Most networks work even in the countryside and coastline (check with your provider).

There are many pay phones around; these are referred to as 'tele boutiques'.
